ingredients

4 large apples (250 g)
100 g walnuts
4 tbsp. to s. lemon
4 tbsp. to s. honey
3/4 cuil. to c. ginger powder

1 Parisian spoon (cutting half-sphere)
1 large bowl
1 baking dish just the size of apples

Steps

Step 1

Prepare the apples : cut them a little hat. Empty them by keeping 1 cm of pulp against the skin. Remove the pips but keep the pulp, cut into small pieces in the bowl. Add the lemon.

2nd step

Fill in the stuffing : add in the bowl kernels of crushed nuts between the fingers, honey and ginger, mix. Fill the apples. Tighten them in the baking dish. Put on the hats.

Step 3

30 min before serving : preheat oven to 180 ° C (tea 4). Bake 20-25 minutes. Take off the hats, cook another 5 minutes. Taste hot.

tips

Harmony . Serve ice cream apples with calissons. Calissons d'Aix Roy René ice cream, made without any additives, with a strong almond fragrance and discreet notes of orange and melon, is found in supermarkets, in pots of 5 dl (5, 25 €).

Variations .

Mingle with the stuffing: candied orange zest; orange blossom water; or a few drops of bitter almond extract.

Replace the ginger with 1/2 tsp. to c. cinnamon powder.
