Solar oil, body oil, slimming oil, hair oil, make-up remover oil ... In beauty rays, this galena is increasingly popular and is now also available as shower oil . Until now, there were only 2 or 3 references in GMS or pharmacy.
In 2014, the oils of showers multiply.

Shower oil, what's in it?

This new arrival on our tub rims does not just surf a trend: the oil has been used since the dawn of time for its moisturizing and nutritive virtues.

In these new washing machines, the same vegetable oils are used as highly nourishing as those of body oils: argan, avocado, sweet almond, coconut, olive or rice . Unlike silicones, these are rich in fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A and E.

Compared to a conventional shower gel, shower oil is formulated with a higher percentage of oil and of course a washing base .

Does it wash as well as a shower gel?

Yes. There is no better than fatty substances to eliminate to eliminate pollution, impurity and perspiration accumulated throughout the day on the surface of the skin. The mechanics take off sludge with sunflower oil ... well for make-up oils like shower oils , the principle is the same.

This is for what type of skin?

Good news, shower oil is not reserved for dry skin only . As it brings a much larger dose of nutrition than a conventional shower gel, shower oil is perfect for dry or atopic skin.

But it has many advantages for the epidermis whatever its type of skin, even when one has oily skin (everything is a matter of sensation, a shower oil does not increase the production of sebum).

It is a washing for the body which has all good:

On a daily basis , the shower oil compensates for the drying effect of the limestone present in tap water.

In the winter, the shower oil comforts the skins which pull because of the cold and the friction of the clothes.

In the summer, it allows to rehydrate the skin after the pool, the sea or the showers more frequent at this season.

Are there any cases where it is preferable not to use it?

Beware of slips , the floor of the shower or bath quickly becomes slippery with a shower oil.

Avoid shaving your legs with shower oil ... the oil causing the accumulation of small piles of sticky hair, it is our razor that will take a shot!
