In 2014, the ethnic print draws its inspiration from all continents: women's outfits from Africa, South America and India. They give an exotic touch to the summer outfits . Prints, warm colors and imposing jewelery: here's all you need to know about this trend spring-summer fashion unstoppable.

Choosing a printed copy

- The Aztec print . These geometric motifs (often triangles in the form of friezes) bear the name of a Mexican people of the sixteenth century. Often very colorful, Aztec prints are now found on all summer clothes: skirt, dress, shirts, jackets, shoes and handbag.

- The ikat print . Originating from an ancestral weaving technique of Southeast Asia, the ikat print is recognizable by the symmetry of its motifs. Very colorful and graphic, we rather wear this ethnic print by a small touch because it attracts a lot of eyes. The Ikat pattern is perfect for the chic ethnic look, combined with black clothes or leather.

- The printed wax. This colorful pattern with round shapes is inspired by African women's outfits (which often wear them in pagnes). For an exotic and chic look at the same time we wear the wax print very close to the body, with a short dress or pencil skirt. The ideal is to match it with wedge shoes.

The exotic side is played with colored pearls and large stones . One can also bet on earrings or wooden bracelets that compliment the ethnic outfits.
