Insufficient hydration, too tight jeans, or even sexual intercourse ... The situations that can trigger cystitis are numerous. This bladder infection, which affects 30% of women , causes urgent cravings, localized pain or extremely uncomfortable burning sensations. If in most cases, the cystitis is benign, we remain cautious. Indeed, the risk is to see the bacteria settle in the bladder, multiply and cause a severe infection that can go as far as pyelonephritis (pain and fever). This is a medical emergency for which it is essential to go to the hospital.

A floral infusion to calm cystitis

If you are prone to cystitis on a regular basis, try taking it early to avoid the antibiotic box. If cranberry is the best known natural remedy, dried flowers of heather and hibiscus, as an infusion, can improve the situation . Heather is a diuretic and an anti-inflammatory of the urinary tract, while hibiscus acts as a urinary antiseptic.

The recipe for my natural infusion made from flowers

Ingredients : dried flowers of heather and hibiscus

The material : A bowl and a teapot or an infusion cup (with its drainer).

Use : A handful of heather and hibiscus flowers are mixed equally. When you need it, you put water to heat and when it shivers (it should not boil) it is poured on the mixture of flowers (1 small handle for a cup). It is allowed to infuse 10 minutes before drinking. Namely: one herbal tea a day is not enough to obtain a health effect. It is from two that we observe an impact. However it is limited to 4 infusions per day. It can be completed by swallowing cranberry juice (pure and without sugar)
