1st tip to run when it's cold: well equip against low temperatures

Running when it's cold is also a matter of common sense. So, we make sure to equip ourselves: we choose sports-specific "breathable" clothing , underwear and windbreakers . They allow us to keep the heat in our body while wicking away perspiration. There are also shoes with insulating thick soles , and big enough to wear big socks.

For the hands, we put on gloves made of micro-points of aluminum catalyzing the heat. Just watch all the joggers on Sunday morning cold, all protect their hands.

Finally, since we remove 40% of the heat by the head, we opt for a polyester cap treated and water repellent, allowing the water to slide on.

2nd tip to run when it's cold : warm up your body before running

A few minutes before starting his runnig session, we swallow a hot natural or slightly sweet drink (tea or herbal tea for example). The ideal gesture to help the body temperature to climb! Be careful not to swallow 1 liter of tea either ... At the risk of having stomach too heavy and stop for a technical break. It would break the rhythm of the race.

3rd tip to run when it's cold : we do not skimp on the warm-up

The warm-up : the obligatory step before running. And even more when it's cold. Before going out, we move the movements that stimulate the whole body: standing, legs close, arms along the body, we jump by spreading the legs laterally and clapping hands above the head.

We start smoothly with a series of 10 jumps and we go on a second series by further spreading the legs. As a race that ends with a sprint, we conclude the warm-up by a faster series. You're ready to go running, even if it's cold!
