The French company and the artist were well found. What do they have in common? Ecological awareness . Veja, a French brand, makes sneakers, bags and accessories that are ecological and fair trade . Established in 2004, the brand has gradually established itself and not only thanks to its ethical principles but also for its sense of fashion. Mathilde Cabanas is a French illustrator. She creates greeting cards and envelopes from recycled paper and invites her universe made of small characters and hypercolorated symbols.

As a result, the collaboration between the brand and the illustrator, committed to recycling, seemed almost logical. For Veja, Mathilde Cabanas imagined a very cute pattern to adorn our little feet: red kisses which, by ten, arise on the model Esplar (109 €). A model so named in honor of the Brazilian NGO of the same name with which Veja has been working since 2005 and which supports organic and family farming in the Nordeste region. The good idea? These sneakers are also available in junior (80 €) and scratch version for "kids" (75 €).
