The sun comes to the end of its rays and the desire to put on a dress is felt? Problem: our hair is as long as a Yeti and it's almost time to go to the office!

Do not panic, cold wax is the guarantee of a fast, effective hair removal without any headaches.

There are two different forms of cold or lukewarm waxing: ready-to-use strips (already coated with cold wax and single use) or roll-on and pot waxes with strips of paper or cloth .

This method allows you to pull the hair at the root and delay the regrowth while leaving the skin soft.

Cold wax hair removal: how does it work?

For a band already covered with wax, we warm it in his hands, it is applied directly to the skin, and tear!

If you use a roll-on or cold wax in a pot, you put it in a thin layer on the skin, then put a band that acts as a support for the pulling over.

The important thing is to always pull the band in the direction of the hair to avoid some inconvenience such as ingrown hairs or small buttons.

The advantages and disadvantages of cold wax

Cold or warm waxing is particularly effective on body parts where the skin is thin and fragile, and therefore recommended for the underarms, arms, mustache and eyebrows, but can also be used on the legs. .

It guarantees a soft skin for two weeks , without risk of burning, unlike hot wax.

Another advantage: the ready-made hair removal strips are for single use and therefore perfectly hygienic.

Easy and quick to use, they do not require much expertise in hair removal, or have a lot of time in front of you.

In contrast, cold or warm waxes are less effective on thick and numerous hairs. Without heat, the pores are less dilated and hair removal is less effective: it requires more finishes.

Be careful, waxing with cold or warm wax is also more painful than waxing with hot wax.
