While the Botanical Gallery of Jardin des Plantes in Paris has reopened, with 8 million specimens - it is now the largest herbarium in the world. A delight for the soul, a treasure to discover as soon as possible, we honor the herbarium spirit by inviting by keys in our houses.

What is the herbarium?

Traditionally, the herbarium is plants, flowers and dried leaves, pressed between two sheets of paper that were once used for research on different specimens of plants . The herbarium has long been reserved for decorations of bourgeois houses or large libraries and showed the interest of scholars for botany . In 2017, no more privacy, like cactus or terrarium, the natural deco trend is stronger than ever. Herbal spirit invades our walls , dishes and other accessories.

How to integrate the herbarium spirit into my decor?

For those who do not have a green thumb, besides paper plants, the herbarium is a good way to put green at home . It adapts to a lot of different decorating styles: from vintage with wallpaper, to trendy decoration with tableware, bohemian with cushions or industrial deco with glass frames. In short, the herbarium, we do what we want. In small touches for a subtle atmosphere, or downright in big room to give a completely different look to our interior ... The herbarium makes us crack!
