What is Halta Yoga?

It's a pretty dynamic yoga (some are more meditative) that alternates postures and flexible movements. The good management of the breath exerted during the sessions favors the concentration of the mind and releases the tensions .

Why does it work?

"Some postures based on bending or twisting, combined with breathing exercises by the belly, allow a massage of the entire abdominal area. To practice regularly before meals, "says Mira Mahesh, professor, attached to the French hatha yoga Federation .

To do at home

Standing, parallel feet, hands clasped in front of the chest. You breathe your belly while lifting your arms above your head. Chin returned, we expire leaning the bust forward and we grab his ankles. The face is at the height of the knees. We inspire in the same way and we return to the starting position (4 times).

Lying on the back, we inspire by tightening our outstretched legs. When exhaling, you put your hands on the right leg that is folded towards the belly while raising the head. The left leg remains on the ground. We inhale 3 to 6 times by inflating the belly. The exercise is repeated with the left leg. To leave the posture, we put our feet on the ground, we extend the leg, head and shoulders on the carpet. We breathe through our belly and relax.
