Le Mas La Pauline, in the heart of Provence

From the window. The large garden with its plane tree, its olive trees, its box trees, its agapanthes and its roses.

Interior day. Corinne and Fabrice Meynadier have made L'Estagnol one of the tables that count in Saint-Rémy. Their new guest house distills a very bohemian chic. "La Rêveuse", with its private terrace, opens on the same level on the garden. We love: the old octagonal washbasin, the old bathtub with lion's legs and the cement tiles of the time. "La Nomade" (upstairs) is more adventurous: coconut carpets and large school cards brought back from Morocco. And then there's the trailer, with its alcove bed, its metal hearts, its grigris of Mexico and a rainbow of colors that makes you want to dance.

In the plate on waking. From the fruit salad, the Saint-Reims baguette of the excellent Fournil des Alpilles. According to the days, from fougasse to sugar, pancakes or homemade pancakes. And if the chickens in the garden are in shape, eggs (on request).

The icing on the cake. The pool, the boulodrome and the "Acapulco" armchairs in Smarties colors, swarmed in the garden.

A little regret. The house is not easy to find the 1st time.

2 rooms and 1 caravan, from 85 € for 2 with breakfast. Only "La Rêveuse" is available in winter (from Wednesday to Sunday). 2561, rte de Maillane, 13210 Saint-Remy-de-Provence. Such. : 04 90 24 80 19. maslapauline.com
