This year marks the thirtieth anniversary of the cult film Dirty Dancing. If it does not rejuvenate us, we prefer to focus our attention on the lessons of style that it has transmitted to us.

Yes, we know, Dirty Dancing does not talk about fashion but dance (we never forget the incredible range of Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray), but the timeless style of Baby deserves its hour of glory, too. So much so that even today, we swear by the Baby style that has two three lessons style to us.

1- White man t-shirt is a timeless basics of any wardrobe

If there is indeed a piece of clothing that Baby can not do without, it is a white man t-shirt. For a sexy touch, it wraps the sleeves and the knot above the navel. For a more casual look, it wore it as is with simple jeans. Simple and efficient.

2- The body is not reserved for dancers

Baby, totally assumes the body. She adopts an orange model and wears it with denim shorts to work her dance steps.

3- The marinière is timeless

By the mid-1960s, Baby had already adopted the sailor. Today, it remains a basic of any wardrobe. Like Baby, we wear it with its fetish jeans.

4- Wear white on white

Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. A small white top with a pair of white pants is the perfect outfit for the arrival of the sunny days. One also follows the fashion advice of Johnny by adopting the black in total look.

5- Staying faithful to his tastes

To dance the Mambo with Johnny, Baby wears a bright pink dress that suits her perfectly. But it does not resemble her, so much so that her own father does not recognize her. Moral of the story: always wear what we like. Whether one feels beautiful without makeup and in simple jeans and t-shirts, or that we prefer to wear tons of jewelry and a pair of pumps, the important thing is to wear clothes that look like us.

6- Never leave your home without underwear

After all, we never know when we will need to carry an unusual wearing before a crowd of 100 people.

And that's why we never leave Baby in a corner.
