1 - Running with girlfriends

We let ourselves be carried away and it is motivating. To stimulate oneself, we all register to a real race. Crossing the finish line will be a great memory. Both choose a race pretext for a fundraising for a charitable cause , such as the fight against cancer ( Odyssea , La Parisienne , Sarabande La Rochelle, Rochambelle Caen, Trouville ...). It is everywhere in France and over reasonable distances (5 to 10 km). The bonus of this type of women's race : in general the collective training sessions are free once the bib has been purchased.

2 - Training with a website

Many sites offer 6 or 12-week turnkey training plans such as Kalenji , the Decathlon website. There are no less than 156 shots for runners of all levels , all durations (from 4 weeks) and all frequencies (1 to 6 times / week). We choose our program ( ensure a 10 km , run 30 minutes without stopping, lose weight after pregnancy ...). Just download each session whose phases are described (warm up, acceleration time, recovery and stretching ..) and animated tips. The interest: we progressively progress and it is quite personalized.

3- Relearning to run with an app

The coach is in the pocket. With the race apps, we are followed during his race (we know how many kilometers we travel, we know the altitude, we have a precise time ...) and it makes you want to progress. Best :

- Endomondo : the app is international, works in race mode, but also walk or any other physical activity ....

- Jiwok accompanies you with a theme to work at each session (endurance, breathing ease ..)

- Smilesrun , created by the host Karine Le Marchand, the app offers a personalized follow-up dedicated to beginners, with different programs (for young mothers, quads and more, overweight people ...)

4 - The running on a sports trip

This is the last trick of the runners : the sport trip that combines training and participation in a race abroad. An example: VO2maxVoyages , Tour Operator specializing in sports tourism, which includes several travel packages centered on an accessible race (10 km) taking place in a major European marathon. With, as an option, the Individualized Program Pack, a pre-trip training plan (coaching by phone and email over several weeks assessment and nutritional advice). The pack: 188 €. And to participate in the Montreal Marathon which takes place in September, there is 1340 € per person (6 days / 5 nights from Paris including accommodation breakfast in hotel ****, transfers, 2 dinners, coaching on site for the course).
